The HNW Certification has three study intakes per year and each subject runs for approximately three weeks.

Each subject has early access that is one week prior to the commencement of a subject study intake. You can also find this information in your KapLearn subject room.

We require a minimum of three years’ industry experience in insurance, wealth management and private banking roles within the financial services industry.

However, we are flexible if you don’t quite meet those requirements.

The HNW Certification is available for Singapore citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents, physically based in Singapore.

To be eligible for the Institute of Banking and Finance Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS) funding, individuals must qualify as a citizen and or permanent resident. You can find more information on IBS-STS funding here.

The HNW Certification is an approved programme under the IBF Standards Training Scheme. IBF-STS provides funding for training and assessment courses in Singapore:

  • That cover key skills needed in the financial sector
  • Are accredited under the Skills Framework for Financial Services (SFwFS).

The HNW Certification comprises of six subjects. Each subject approximately requires three weeks to complete.

For the best possible study experience, the HNW Certification programme is designed and recommended to be completed in a nominated cohort in sequential order over a study period of approximately nine months, comprising of nine hours of face-to-face training per subject.

Yes, the HNW Certification covers 10 FAA CPD hours and 66 Core CPD hours. This ensures participants not only deepen their expertise in high-net-advisory but also fulfill essential CPD requirements, aligning with industry standards and regulatory expectations for continuous learning and professional development.

On completion of all six subjects, you’ll earn the highly-regarded High Net Worth Certification with the Certified HNW Adviser designation. This certifies specialised knowledge and expertise, distinguishing yourself as a qualified expert in serving high-net-worth clients and understanding complex wealth management strategies.

Yes, the HNW Certification is accredited Level 2 and 3 by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) under the Skills Framework for Financial Services.

IBF Certification is an industry-endorsed mark of quality for finance professionals in Singapore. Individuals who have successfully completed eligible IBF-STS accredited assessment programme(s) and meet the relevant criteria may apply for IBF Certification. The HNW Certification is a peer-driven programme delivered through a sophisticated and blended learning approach, with both face-to-face and online learning. Content is delivered by international and local practitioners.

Each subject encompasses two days of in-person workshops, providing the opportunity to interact with the industry expert delivering the subject and your peers, and participate in robust discussion for maximum engagement and collaboration.
